Massachusetts RMV Fines and Limits Permit Practice Test

This RMV practice test for your written knowledge exam to get a learner’s permit and license will focus on traffic fines and limits. Your written test will have 25 multiple-choice questions in total based on information pulled from the 2024 Massachusetts Driver’s Manual. The questions must be answered in 25 minutes. To pass the exam, you cannot miss more than seven questions, so it’s important to study each possible type of question. Fines and limits will cover information pulled from chapter two of your driver’s manual, focusing on driving under the influence, restrictions on licenses, and more. To take the knowledge test at your local RMV office, you’ll need to provide proof of identity, residence, and signature, a permit application including a parental signature if you’re under 18, and the required testing fees. The written test will be $30, or $60 if you wish to prepay for your driving test at the same time.
